Accounting Clerk.

Whitter Group of Companies in Montego Bay is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Accounting Clerk. Core Duties and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge of accounting principles, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Core duties include: Performing general accounting duties, e.g. booking general ledger entries, journal entries Reconciling balance sheet accounts Preparing audit schedules Preparing customer invoices and ensure distribution in a timely manner Preparing customer statements and monitor accounts receivables Posting bank account transactions Bank account reconciliation Timely preparation of monthly statutory returns for filing Assisting in maintaining fixed asset register Assisting in preparation of monthly financial reports including cash flow projections and operating budgets Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Sound knowledge of Accounting principles and applications Working knowledge and experience in using QuickBooks software and applications Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills Self-motivated and a team player Qualifications and Experience: At minimum first degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications from an accredited institution Three (3) years continuous prior working experience in accounting Email resume and application letter to talentsourcejamaica@gmail.com with Accounting Clerk in the subject line
