Sales Development Representative - Remote at Flamingo



Young startup looking for ambitious and highly motivated sales professionals to help us educate potential clients about our business. Flamingo is a USA-based community engagement solution providing events, fitness programming, concierge services and technology to large apartment and commercial buildings.



Who we are

Flamingo is an all-in-one community engagement solution. For residents in apartment buildings, this means an app with their building name and logo that they can use for everything from rent payment to booking maids. For property managers, this means a website where they can instantly book social events for their residents like chefs to cater or do cooking classes or fitness instructors to teach onsite fitness classes.



Your Role: Cold call a list of target customers to qualify them and set up an appointment for our Account Executive to complete a demo presentation.You’ll do this through:

Sales execution (cold calling, emailing, following up and other effective sales methods). 70+ calls per day expected. Calls are done through our Hubspot CRM.
Prospecting to identify ideal buildings
Walking prospects through qualification questions
Successful handoff of signed clients to Operations
Iterating and improving Flamingo sales process
Working with marketing to develop and improve sales collateral
Reviewing and updating sales goals, strategy, & tactics
Writing a Monthly Blog Article

Fluent in English - written and verbal
2+ years of sales experience


Other Expectations

You can work 8:30am to 5:30pm CST United States Time
You have your own laptop and work station with very fast internet. Calls are made through our CRM which requires fast internet.
Internet download speed of at least 10 Mbps

Compensation & Perks

Salary + Commission: $15,000 per year
Perks: 2 weeks paid vacation; paid personal days and holidays
