DOCUMENTATION OFFICER




Reporting to the Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

Downloading, preparing and processing of documentation.

Data entry, uploading and maintenance of information & documents.

. Co-ordinating the stripping and tallying of consolidated cargo.

. Dispatching arrival notices to consignees and brokers.

Billing and collecting of freight, demurrage and detention charges.

? Providing excellent customer service.

. Performing day to day functions/responsibilities of the department. The successful candidate should possess:

? At least five (5) subjects including Mathematics and English.

. Certificate or Diploma in Business Studies, Shipping & Logistics or equivalent.

At least 1 year experience in the freight/shipping industry will be an asset.

Knowledge of standard office procedures and practices.

Good organising and time management skills (organized, focused & results oriented).

Excellent interpersonal skills (Strong relationship & communication skills).

. Ability to meet flexible deadlines.

? Competent using MS Office software applications.
