About the Role
J-ET Services is seeking a skilled Remote Videographer / Video Editor to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented editor with strong storytelling instincts who can deliver engaging short-form and long-form video content across multiple platforms. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with our creative team to produce high-quality content that aligns with our brand and audience.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and long-form videos for multiple platforms
Assemble raw footage and apply color correction, sound design, transitions, text overlays, and motion graphics
Create polished course modules and promotional video materials
Organize, label, and archive video assets for efficient future use
Stay up to date with video editing trends, pacing, and visual styles relevant to our niche
Collaborate with the creative team to meet deadlines and maintain brand consistency
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced remote environment
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience (portfolio required)
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
Working knowledge of motion graphics and basic sound editing
Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, flow, and audience retention
Ability to work independently and take initiative on creative decisions
Strong time management and organizational skills
2. Remote - Social Media Manager
Location: Remote
The Social Media Manager works closely with the media team to create engaging content for a company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
Responsibilities:
-Manages company social media channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
-Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.
-Creates dynamic written, and graphic content.
-Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC)
-Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation.
-Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.
-Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and the success of existing social media projects
-Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
-Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers.
-Manages social media communications.
-Use timelines to schedule content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analyzing, managing, altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
-This position is not limited to the above and can be modified and expanded as required.
Requirements:
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English is required.
-Strong functional knowledge of social media principles, and practices, and the desire to apply that knowledge in a professional environment.
-Team player in a fast-paced environment
-Strong ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines
-Strong organizational skills
-Be persuasive and energetic
-Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office applications
-Multi-tasking skills and strong prioritization skills
