GENERAL MANAGER

A well-established Manufacturing company located in Manchester with over 19 years in the construction sector seeks suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions:
GENERAL MANAGER

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the General Manager is responsible for overall management, performance and efficiency of the manufacturing operations. The duties include:
Provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the plant operations
Ensure production, materials, quality assurance/control, accounting/payroll information systems, human resources and sales units meet their goals while operating at the highest level of efficiency 
Overall responsibility for ensuring that staffing and competency levels are achieved/exceeded in all aspects of the manufacturing process to facilitate productivity and growth
Monitor operation expenses and research ways to improve revenue and reduce costs while maintaining product quality
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration/ Engineering/Operations Management
10 years’ experience in a leadership position, of which minimum 5 years must have been at senior level
Technical knowledge and Experience in Production, Quality & Maintenance operations
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in Manufacturing Operations
Must be proactive & have excellent time management skills
Must possess excellent Communication & Decision making skills
