Global Catholic Climate Movement is an international network of Catholic people and 900 member organizations, all working together to develop solutions to the climate crisis. About the position
Global Catholic Climate Movement is searching for a English-French translator for our regular documents. The documents vary from formal to informal ones, including prayers, emails, social media posts, guides, official documents, and more.
Description and Requirements
- Translate from English to French and vice versa
- Approximately 95% from English to French
- Approximately 5% from French to English
- Familiar with Christian/Catholic language and the encyclical Laudato Si’
- Experience in translations
Languages
- The contractor must be fluent in English and French
- Translation ability in other languages, especially Portuguese, Italian, or German, is a bonus
