Virtual Administrative Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and appointment reminders.
-Handle incoming calls, emails, and virtual patient inquiries.
-Maintain and update patient records securely in an EMR system.
-Process billing, insurance claims, and payments.
-Provide administrative support to healthcare providers and staff.
-Prepare documents, enter data, and organize digital files.
-Facilitate smooth communication between patients and clinic staff.
-Take ownership of assigned tasks and follow through to completion.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as an administrative or virtual assistant (healthcare experience preferred).
-Demonstrated track record of reliability, accountability, and maturity.
-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
-Proficiency with office software and virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
-Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
-Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information responsibly, and take initiative.
-Willingness to complete a free HIPAA training course provided by the company.
