Jamaica’s leading manufacturer of windows, doors, fencing, shower enclosures and other home solutions, has an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated professionals to join our team in Kingston.
The Ideal Candidate is:
• in possession of minimum 2 years of solid experience as a customer service/sales representative or a related job in the construction, building or hardware industry or within an allied field within the FMCG sector;
• resilient, confident, driven with high level of energy, a positive attitude and customer focused;
• a smart person with strong business acumen and numerical skills;
• able to work independently as well as a team player who is strong at building relations both internally and externally;
• flexible and has a strong and winning personality and is willing to go the extra mile;
• proactive and creative with a commercial focus and is able to influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
Main Focus:
Your primary role is to sell our products to existing customers, securing new accounts, develop sales proposal/specifications, and provide technical advice to customers regarding product selection, design and installation.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute sales efforts.
• Forecast and prepare sales budgets.
• Prospect new customers.
• Negotiate contracts to optimize profitability.
• Prepare customer terms form with pricing and payment terms.
• Build and maintain strategic and dynamic relationships with stakeholders
• Monitor monthly sales performance versus forecast.
• Prepare monthly activity reports and weekly plans.
• Forecast and tracks key account metrics.
• Compile all market information data.
• Ensure deliveries/installations are made on a timely basis and in accordance with established standards.
• Maintain contact with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery/installation of products in accordance with customer needs.
Performance Criteria:
• Develop and maintain a solid and stable portfolio of customers.
• Prospect for new clients
• Ensure optimal customer satisfaction by building strong personal relations and providing specialist advice to customers.
• Achievement of sales targets
Qualification:
• BA/BSc in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration
