CORE FUNCTION
Assist with the management of line staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assist in ensuring the environment is clean and tidy at all times
Assist in ensuring the safety, proper storage, and recording of all stock
Ensure there is no pilfering of cash or stock by employees
Ensure timely opening of branch and follow opening and closing procedures
Ensure products are available to be served to customers at all times
Assist in ensuring the appropriate level of human resources is maintained in the branches in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures by branch personnel in collaboration with the Branch Manager
Assist in insuring performance appraisals are submitted at least once yearly
Assist in ensuring the holding of monthly staff meetings
Ensure the promotion of harmony among employees
Effectively handle complaints of customers and employees
Ensure turnaround time for serving customers is maintained at a maximum of 180 seconds.
Identify and recommend processes which will improve service quality
Ensure the usage of standard lines by front staff
Ensure that a pleasant countenance is maintained by front staff
Ensure products of the highest quality are served at all times.
Any other duty that may be assigned.
HYGIENE AND DEPORTMENT
Hair must be covered at all times
Proper uniform is to be worn
Name Tag is to be displayed
Ensure that nails are kept short and clean – no nail polish
Good hygiene must be exhibited at all times
Full shoes are to be worn – No slippers
AUTHORITY
The incumbent is authorized to:
Make decisions and take appropriate action that may be required to ensure that the goals and objectives of the company are met.
REPORTING AND ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Branch Manager Direct supervision given to: Branch Personnel
Liaise with internally: Other Branches, Head Office Departments Liaise with externally: Customers, Suppliers
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of a Diploma in Supervisory Management or equivalent
A minimum of one (1) year experience at the supervisory level
A current Food Handler’s Permit
REQUIRED SKILLS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT(S)
Excellent Human Relations and Customer Relations skills
Excellent motivational and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
Knowledge of the company’s guidelines and operational procedures
Good problem-solving skills
Must display initiative and ability to work independently.
Must be able to stand for extended hours

Branch maintains satisfactory assessment ratings
Customers are provided with the highest level of service and there is repeat business because of this factor.
