Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative for Bartley, your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential customers, build strong relationships with them, present and demonstrate Bartley's products or services, negotiate and close sales, and provide after-sales support. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and achieving or exceeding the sales targets set by Bartley.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifying and prospecting potential customers:
Conduct market research to identify potential customers who could benefit from Bartley's products or services.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to expand your network and connect with potential customers.
Utilize various lead generation methods, including cold-calling, to reach out to prospective customers.
Building relationships with customers:
Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and challenges.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing them with exceptional customer service and support.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
Presenting and demonstrating products or services:
Conduct engaging and persuasive product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of Bartley's offerings.
Explain complex product information in a clear and concise manner, addressing customer questions and concerns.
Customize presentations to highlight the value proposition of Bartley's products or services for each customer.
Negotiating and closing sales:
Utilize effective sales techniques to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers.
Employ persuasive skills to overcome objections and close sales opportunities successfully.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales agreements.
Providing after-sales support:
Offer post-sales support by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and handling concerns.
Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure their satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationships.
Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure a smooth transition from sales to support.
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments:
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Continuously update your knowledge about Bartley's products or services, as well as their unique selling points.
Apply industry insights to identify new sales opportunities and position Bartley's offerings effectively.
Meeting sales targets:
Set and track individual sales targets in alignment with Bartley's objectives.
Regularly assess your sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and take necessary actions to meet or exceed targets.
Collaborate with the sales team and sales management to strategize and optimize sales activities.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales or a related field, preferably in a B2B environment.
