ModSquad is seeking experienced engagement representatives for comics-related community forums.
Hours:
Shifts available from 7 am - 9 pm Monday through Sunday. Must have some availability on weekends and evenings.
The Ideal Mod:
- is a genuine fan of comics
- is a precise writer and communicator
- is off-the-charts creative (creative writing experience is a bonus)
- can craft creative responses to customer issues or questions
- is reliable, proactive and level-headed
- has experience participating in forums and moderation projects (think Reddit, Twitch etc)
Project Details: What You'll Do
- Comply with community rules and guidelines
- Maintain a list of noteworthy issues/insights/questions
- Take action on comments/discussion threads (responding, editing, locking, deleting) and user accounts (suspending or banning) based on established moderation procedures.
- Flag and escalate questionable posts and situations for a staff member’s attention.
- Occasionally post official updates and announcements as directed by internal Community Manager.
- Actively engage on the forums as a representative of our client's community team at the direction of the internal Community Manager.
