About Wingocard
We founded Wingocard with the objective to create a new financial system that always puts people first. We’ve all had our share of poor experiences with traditional banks. Why can't banking be more intuitive, transparent and easy to use? As a first step, we're building the ultimate Mobile Banking app designed for teens and their parents.
Our mission is to empower the new generation to be smart with money - by giving them the best experience while providing education on personal finances. We believe that learning to better manage money at a young age will result in lifelong positive consequences. Wingocard was founded by 3 experienced leaders with a strong track record in the technology and start-up space.
This is a remote position.
About the Role
At Wingocard we're building the ultimate Mobile Banking app designed for teens and their parents. We’re looking for a strong writer to create content for our marketing channels and product experience.
Responsibilities
- Writing engaging copy for various platforms including: promotional collateral, press releases, email campaigns, ads, social media posts, video scripts, and, last but in no way least, our app.
- Build campaigns that shape our voice and digital presence as well as UX copy that sets us apart.
- Create social media content aligned with teen trends and on the topic of personal finance, as well as content for parents.
- Partnering with the marketing team to brainstorm outputs for campaigns and activations as well as the product team to shape user interactions.
About you
- 1-2 years experience in copywriting, content strategy, or content creation.
- A strong and demonstrated understanding of creative writing and marketing fundamentals.
- An excellent communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills (impeccable grammar is a must).
Nice-to-have
- Proven track record on previously gaining a successful following on social media platforms through content creation
- Experience in the FinTech or EdTech space
- Experience writing for teen brands
- Startup experience
- Remote work experience
- Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar)
