The Advance Program strengthens the capacity of select two- and three-year technical tertiary institutions, providing

Advance works to strengthen degree programs in partnership selected academic institutions in five areas: curriculum design and pedagogy, teacher professional development, career services, admissions and recruitment, and local scholarships.

in each country, Advance is implemented by FHI 360, with support from USAID. In Jamaica, Advance focuses on three
industries: agribusiness, health and wellness tourism and creative industries. These industries were selected based on

Achieve Test Prep is seeking a work from home Math/Statistics Instructor to prepare and tutor College students twice a week for 3 hours to sit for standardized examinations while motivating and enabling learners to further their educational dreams. Class runs for 8-10 weeks, then repeats. A Powerpoint presentation, syllabus and study guide is provided; no grading or reviewing of papers needed!

Responsibilities

  • Adapt training delivery, in real-time, to meet differing experience levels of participants

  • Actively seek evidence of audience engagement and comprehension, and provides coaching as necessary

  • Track student progress and help students stay on pace to take the examination within 30 days of the class end date

 Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Knowledge of Mathematics and Statistics required.
