This is a freelance, or a part-time position, with the potential to grow into a full-time role. Either way, we’re looking for someone willing to forge a lasting bond with our team. We will provide a regular flow of work for the right individual so we want to make sure we’re building on strong foundations.
You will be working closely with a dedicated stakeholder from our marketing team to create written content such as: blog posts, white papers, micro-blogs, news articles, etc., aligned with our marketing strategy. We try our best to plan content well in advance, but on occasions when things shift around we will require a dose of flexibility for this role.

Requirements:
Must have:
3+ years of experience writing (with writing samples to support)
Experience in SaaS (as a writer, editor or content manager)
Experience with SEO and keyword research
Experience writing / editing scripts for videos and podcasts is a huge plus
Impeccable sense of grammar and punctuation (American English)
Creative writing style and ability to generate excitement in a copy (take a potato and turn it into Pringles)
A fully functioning workstation and a quiet place to work (with their own laptop)

A genuine interest in the video market
Must be:
Able to respect deadlines like the life of a puppy depends on it
Able to attend online meetings a few times per month (more often during onboarding)
Quick to learn and able to understand audiences
Able to work independently
Native or near-native English speaker
Overall a kind and fun person 🙂
Our ideal candidate will also have:
Degree or relevant experience in Marketing Communication, Journalism, or similar
Experience in OTT or video industry in general (Nice to have but not a deal-breaker)
Good sense of content trends
Good sense of humor
