ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / ANALYST

Reporting to the General Manager, GK General Insurance Limited, the incumbent will be expected to: 

 


 

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to the General Manager and other Senior Managers
  • Compose standard letters, memoranda and reports - prepare graphics as required by identifying required information and conducting background research 
  • Assist with the preparation of reports to the Board of Directors for GK Insurance, GraceKennedy Financial Group and Grace Kennedy.
  • Provide support in ensuring that the General Manager remains efficient and effective in the execution of his/her functions.
  • Analyze trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve Insurance products and services
  • Reviewing the financial performance of the Company on a monthly basis and generally advise and make recommendations on any trends noted.
  • Provide information and manage visitors to the General Manager
  • Manage appointment schedules and calendars
  • Coordinate meeting and travel arrangements 

 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • First Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity

  • Full knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and organizational tools
